How are tenants chosen?

CoLive Space is above all a community where human interaction and sharing are at the heart of our philosophy. Therefore, we systematically target candidates who are ready to share this spirit and join one of our residences. We take care to select profiles that are likely to maintain affinities.

Can I talk to my future co-residents before I move in?

Of course, we can put you in touch with them.

How to book a room or contact us?

In a few clicks through the icons “Book” or “Contact us”. Just fill out a quick online form and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Can I use the CoLive Space mailing address as my primary address?

Of course, you are at home!

What is the difference between coliving and flatsharing?

Coliving allows for more flexibility and independence because unlike a shared apartment, you will sign an all-inclusive individual lease with a professional landlord. CoLive Space also takes care of finding and selecting new residents. You won’t have to worry about a “coliver” leaving or paying extra fees for an available room. When you want to end your lease, you won’t have to pay for your old room until someone else takes it over.

What are the rules ?

You will be required to agree with the CoLive Space residence rules of cohabitation and good behavior. Don’t worry, there will be nothing more than the obvious rules of our daily lives around respect and kindness.

Who is in charge of keeping the residence in good condition?

It is yours and the other residents’ responsibilities. For your convenience, a cleaning service will be included, but it does not replace your part of the commitment and responsibility in keeping the residence in good condition.

Am I allowed to host someone?

We want to preserve the peace and quiet of the community as much as possible. We only allow your partner to stay with you on an occasional basis, but please make sure that you notify the other residents in advance and that they spend the night in your private space and not in the common areas.

Can I organize events?

Yes, they are part of the CoLive Space experience. However, please ensure that they are conducted in a manner that is respectful of the residence, other residents, neighbors and legal hours.

Can I work from home?

Of course you can! Most rooms are equipped with desks and the residences have a high-speed internet connection to enable working from home.

Do I have to share the bathroom and toilet facilities?

When you select your room, it will be indicated if it comes with a private or shared bathroom. The majority of our rooms are equipped with a private bathroom.

Can I bring my pet?

We would like to say yes, but unfortunately and in order to maintain a better cohabitation, we do not allow pets.

What are the common spaces?

At CoLive Space, you will share many common areas: living room, dining room, kitchen, garden and laundry room. You will also benefit from a private space with your own bedroom and bathroom.

Is the kitchen equipped?

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, oven, microwave, stove, toaster, coffee machine and other small equipment. You will discover it all once you arrive!

How will my room be arranged?

Depending on the size of the room, it will include a 140cm or 160cm bed, with bedside tables, a desk or small writing desk, and a closet. You will also find small decoration for a modern and functional design.

What are the differences between the rooms?

There are differences between our rooms (dimensions, inclusion of a bathroom, …) justifying an adapted pricing. Be reassured, they are all furnished and carefully decorated to make you feel at home.

Is it possible to bring personal items and/or decorate your private space?

Of course, you will be able to personalize and make your private space your own, with the exception of the installation of paintings or other frames requiring to make holes in the walls.

What extra services are included in the price?

Your rent is all inclusive. It includes the rental of your room and bathroom, access to common areas, Wifi, insurance, taxes and other charges (water, electricity, …), as well as weekly cleaning of common areas.

Can I have a parking space?

Depending on the residence, you can ask for access to a private parking space. You will find the specific services under the tab “Our Residences”.

Am I covered by insurance?

The residence is covered by insurance and you will be responsible for your property and equipment.

Can I lock my private area?

The room doors will be equipped with electronic locks that can be locked with a code unique to you, in order to maintain your privacy.

What is included in the monthly price?

Is there a deposit to be made?

How to prepare for check-out?

When you leave, please leave the room in good condition. The common areas must also be clean and tidy. An exit inventory will be made at the end of the stay. In case of damage or loss, each item will be subject to a deduction from your security deposit. However, do not hesitate to inform us in advance so that we can proceed with a replacement. Your access code will be destroyed and you will no longer have access to the residence. Other residents will be kept informed and the complete process will be communicated to you at the appropriate time.

Who is part of the lease agreement?

Residents sign a single furnished residential lease with the owner. They commit with each other to a contract which governs life in the community in order to maintain good conduct and harmonious cohabitation.
